Sabbath lessons.

Shabbat Shalom dear ones,

Hereby I wrote some notes about the Sabbath you can read down below. The Lord bless you, and I pray that the Holy Spirit gives you understanding.(Proverbs 3:5-6. It says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.)

16/09/2023.Thème/Teaching: Sabbath lesson. The Lord's day.

Bible verses:

Genesis 2:2-3 - "By the seventh day God had finished the work that he had been doing, and so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy."

Exode 20:8-11  - "Remember the sabbath day, and keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work. But the seventh day is a sabbath of the Lord your God; you shall not do any work—not you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male slave, nor your female slave, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates."

Isaiah 58:13- 14 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the Lord, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:

Then shalt thou delight thyself in the Lord; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it.

Exode 5:5 Then Pharaoh said, “Look, the people of the land are now numerous, and you are stopping them from working. which day was that? the Sabbath's day..

Revelation22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

John 15:14-15 You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you.

Isaiah66:22-23 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain. And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord.

Notes:

Many people's are deceived by the Lord's day.. Jesus didn't change the Sabbath but who did change it?

We are not saved by keeping the Sabbath but we are saved by serving the Lord. God has people in all churches,...

People worship idols and icons, adoration of men,..Satan is trying to carry away the flood revelation12:15. TheSabbath it's not the method of salvation. But Jesus Christ. Salvation is in  Christ alone by Grace through faith.

Does the Lord have a special day? Does it even matter what day we choose for worship?

Yes, the Lord does have a special day, and it is the seventh-day Sabbath, which is from Friday evening to Saturday evening. -->  Apocalypse1:10. 

 The Bible teaches that God created the world in six days and rested on the seventh day, and He blessed and sanctified this day as a holy day of rest (Genesis 2:2-3).

So as I understand from the Bible itself, Sabbath comes from the Ten Commandments,  instructiing believers to observe the seventh day of the week which is saturday a holy day of rest and worship. it as a way to honor God's holy day and God Himself even rested on the 7th day.

 Mark 2:27 The Sabbath was made for men not.  the men for the Sabbath a s a gift,  

  4th commandant ---> Exodus20:8-11 The 7th day is the Sabbath day the day of your Lord our God. It is the commandment of the Lord! You can not change it, you can not pick it, there is nowhere in the bible thats says go pick a sabbath but it says very clear that its on the 7th day.

Christians should honor  that day for it is a holy day that is what the bible says.

So there are 7 days in the week, how many days did God use to create the world? 6days He labored. He rested on the 7th day and blessed it and santificed it,cause He rested from all His work that He had done.7 is the mark of perfection. 

Gen 2:1-3 Thus the heavens and the earth were completed in all their vast array.

By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done.

God santificed marriage and the Sabbath.  which satan objects of hatred. 

satan leads countless christians to pick the gender and the day they prefer and say as long we love the Lord, thats all that matter... they chose what they prefer above what God has command like Sunday worship and same gender marriage. many folks have made it acceptable, cause the devil has put it into our minds that it is acceptable...cause after all He was once in Heaven, they all know the commandments and laws, rules from God in fact they know the whole Bible and that is how the devil is deceiving many peoples..

Why would God ask how long will you refuse to keep my commandments and laws? 

Exode 16:4- Then the Lord said to Moses, “I will rain down bread from heaven for you. The people are to go out each day and gather enough for that day. In this way I will test them and see whether they will follow my instructions. 5 On the sixth day they are to prepare what they bring in, and that is to be twice as much as they gather on the other days.”

6 So Moses and Aaron said to all the Israelites, “In the evening you will know that it was the Lord who brought you out of Egypt, 7 and in the morning you will see the glory of the Lord, because he has heard your grumbling against him. Who are we, that you should grumble against us?” 8 Moses also said, “You will know that it was the Lord when he gives you meat to eat in the evening and all the bread you want in the morning, because he has heard your grumbling against him. Who are we? You are not grumbling against us, but against the Lord.”

9 Then Moses told Aaron, “Say to the entire Israelite community, ‘Come before the Lord, for he has heard your grumbling.’”

10 While Aaron was speaking to the whole Israelite community, they looked toward the desert, and there was the glory of the Lord appearing in the cloud.

11 The Lord said to Moses, 12 “I have heard the grumbling of the Israelites. Tell them, ‘At twilight you will eat meat, and in the morning you will be filled with bread. Then you will know that I am the Lord your God.’”

13 That evening quail came and covered the camp, and in the morning there was a layer of dew around the camp. 14 When the dew was gone, thin flakes like frost on the ground appeared on the desert floor. 15 When the Israelites saw it, they said to each other, “What is it?” For they did not know what it was.

Moses said to them, “It is the bread the Lord has given you to eat. 16 This is what the Lord has commanded: ‘Everyone is to gather as much as they need. Take an omer[a] for each person you have in your tent.’”

17 The Israelites did as they were told; some gathered much, some little. 18 And when they measured it by the omer, the one who gathered much did not have too much, and the one who gathered little did not have too little. Everyone had gathered just as much as they needed.

19 Then Moses said to them, “No one is to keep any of it until morning.”

20 However, some of them paid no attention to Moses; they kept part of it until morning, but it was full of maggots and began to smell. So Moses was angry with them.

21 Each morning everyone gathered as much as they needed, and when the sun grew hot, it melted away. 22 On the sixth day, they gathered twice as much—two omers[b] for each person—and the leaders of the community came and reported this to Moses. 23 He said to them, “This is what the Lord commanded: ‘Tomorrow is to be a day of sabbath rest, a holy sabbath to the Lord. So bake what you want to bake and boil what you want to boil. Save whatever is left and keep it until morning.’”

24 So they saved it until morning, as Moses commanded, and it did not stink or get maggots in it. 25 “Eat it today,” Moses said, “because today is a sabbath to the Lord. You will not find any of it on the ground today. 26 Six days you are to gather it, but on the seventh day, the Sabbath, there will not be any.”

27 Nevertheless, some of the people went out on the seventh day to gather it, but they found none. 28 Then the Lord said to Moses, “How long will you[c] refuse to keep my commands and my instructions? 29 Bear in mind that the Lord has given you the Sabbath; that is why on the sixth day he gives you bread for two days. Everyone is to stay where they are on the seventh day; no one is to go out.” 30 So the people rested on the seventh day.

So back in the days they observed the seventh-day Sabbath, and it was part of their worship and faith. However overtime, the practice of observing the Shabbat on the seventh day was abandoned in favor of sunday worship, which became the dominant day or recognised day of worship in many different churches.. the Bible still teaches that the seventh-day Sabbath is a holy day and a sign of our Creator's power and love for us (Exodus 20:8-11, Deuteronomy 5:12-15). Infact, Jesus Himself kept the Sabbath and taught His followers to do so as well right (Luke 4:16, 13:10-17).

So, does it matter what day we choose for worship? Yes, it does matter because the Bible teaches that we are to worship God on the day that He has chosen, which is the seventh-day Sabbath. By observing the Shabbat, we are showing our love and obedience to God, and we are also remembering and honoring His creation and redemption of the world.

my conclusion on what i knew before i watched this teaching about Sabbath: 

I knew that sunday has been recognized as the day of worship for centuries. and that it a time to gather with fellow believers.. strengthen our faith, worship our Lord and find spiritual nourishmen, with the belief that Jesus rose from the dead on a sunday, making it a special day for us to honor and celebrate His resurrection. 

Sentence that stood out to me was: Keeping the commandements does not save you however even tho by rejecting the commandements of God it can keep you from being saved...

Questions: Do Christians need to keep the Sabbath or is that only for Jewish people? 

 Is Sunday the new Sabbath? What does the Bible say?,...

Mr.,Steve starts with,Is the Sabbath binding  in the new covenant?

It is part of the old covenant, 2000years ago. 

A Sign that God made between the peoples of Israel and Himself at Mount Sinai in Exodus31:12-17.

It wasnt an obligation to everybody, it was something God told them to do because he bought them out of Egypt. cause He gave them rest from their labors,... He said now i want you to commemorate that every week because i took you our of the land of Egypt from slavery

God  never gave the commandment to anybody in the Bible expect the people of Israel and it was part of the covenant that He made with them when they came out of Egypt.

What is the covenant? ---> 10 commandments (Exode34:28).

He made is at Mount Sinai Deuteronomy 4:13. so the covenant = the 10commandemants. So to mr.Steve The covenant is what God made with the folks of Israel at mount Sinai, that he had not made with the ancestors. according to him you will not read  of anybody before the times of Moise or after the time of Christ who has ever commanded to keep the Sabbath or any of the covenant things that were holy days..the Sabbath was weekly a Holy day.. some anual, some weekly..given at mount Sinai.

Olam = hidden, most distant times wether past or future. it can mean for all time but often doesnt mean for all time it has a broad meaning beyond from what we can see from here.

Ad Olam = literallly a far as.. a long period of time...Isaiah42:14.

“For of old I have broken your yoke and burst your bonds;

And you said, ‘I will not transgress,’

Exodus 21:6 then his master shall bring him to the judges. He shall also bring him to the door, or to the doorpost, and his master shall pierce his ear with an awl; and he shall serve him forever.

1Chronicle 17:14-17 I will set him over my house and my kingdom forever; his throne will be established forever.

So he doesnt believe it is forever but for a period of time...

Exodus 7:21 with this verse he compares a statute forever with the Sabbath.

He gives bible scriptures explaining his debate on this Sabbath topic is Olam, so not forever. Forever doesnt always mean forever in his words. cause he gives different bible verses where he highlights the word forever, saying that forever once again doesnt always mean forever, it means a long time. He says that sometimes  it may refer to forever and sometimes not it depends on the context.

2Kings5;27

Jonah 2:6  explains i went down to the moorings of the mountains; the earth with its bars closed behind 'forver' yet he was only three days in the stomache of the fish not forever..

He then says we dont offer animal sacrifices forever,...

Then asks a question on how long  was the law and prophets to be for? --> Luke16:16.(until John) Galatians3:19. the law was till the seed came.

Galatians3:23-25 the law was given as a tutor, we are no longer under the tutor, what is the tutor? the law, what is the Sabbath its part of the law (10commandements)

Galatians4:1-5

Paul says Christ is the end of the law--> Romains10:4.

So to mr.Steve anyone who says we have to keep any of the laws of the old Testament for righteousness.. is not recognizing Jesus for what Paul says  it is.

Mr.Batchelor argues that the Sabbath is a commandment that has not been nullified by Jesus sacrifice. He believes that keeping the Sabbath is a sign of loyalty and obedience to God, and it provides a unique opportunity for worship, fellowship, and spiritual growth.

He asks questions about the commandant that should we as Christians not honor our mother and father, not kill, not lie and not take God's name in vain? why should we forget the one in the middle that speaks about the Sabbath? so we would not do any work

Mark 2:27 Sabbath is made for men. why does God say that cause God first made men and then after He made the Sabbath to be a blessing for men.

Sabbath is an eternal institution.

The Sabbath is mentioned 172times in the Bible.

Did Jesus intend for His people to keep the Shabbat after the cross?

Matthew 24:20 but pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the Sabbath day..

Have the ten commandment been changed?

Mr Bathcelor says obviously not they were summarized in love on our hearts. Its through love to do it.

If you love God, do you want to keep those laws? why wouldnt you? Those laws were created to be a blessing.

Matthew5:17 Jesus came to fulfill the laws not to destroy. fulffill doesnt mean to do away with

Matthew 5:19.

Daniel7:25

Matthew 19:17-19 young ruler asked Jesus Christ a question on what good things he should do to have Eternal life? Jesus responded saying if you want to enter you should keep the commandments..

Jesus Christ didnt mention all the commandments, for there are many.. but that doesnt mean its oke to break them.

Does breaking just one of God's commandment really matter?

Answer is found in James2:10-12 and Psalms 119:44-45.

Did the Sabbath law exist before Mount Sinai?

They neglected resting on Sabbath, they get out of Egyp but they are not at mount Sinai yet, the commandments are not written. So God says how long will you refuse my commandments? So why would God ask this if this was the first time they disobeyed? And where had he declared it to them so they knew about it

What blessings are promised by the Shabbat commandement?

Matthew11:28 --> God will give you rest.its about resting in Jesus Christ.

John 13;17 if you know these things blessed are you if do them. Its a blessing, if you love Christ keep His commandments...

1 a time for corporate worship

2 a time for physical rest

3 a memorial of creation

4 a memorial of redemption

Saying the Sabbath was made for men and not men for the Sabbath.

it took satan nearly 600 years to build a resume of lies.. some say that the Shabbat was only for the jews. So where did that come from the sunday controversy?

Sermon about Sabbath is very broad so you cant just preach about it all in one teaching. Just like the topic of love is very broad and you can have different preachings about it.

The Sabbath was not scripturally changed but how was it then changed?

Many different dominions of the Protestanisme know about the Shabbat yet they leave their congrrgation observe a day while they know that the Shabbat has not changed.

So you got the " sunday mask"

What is sunday mask?

it talks about how some protestants around the world make sunday the high point of the week, they make sunday special...

Seventh Day Adventist do not honor sunday; they do not do sunday campaigns, they honor the Biblical Sabbath.

So the devil has found ways like the seasonings salt and pepper to put certain things aside about Sabbath. Some observe it fully, some observe it not fully but half and some do not observe it at all.

People would rather listen to their leaders then study God for themselves...

He then explains how in Levetique 23:32 it says the following:It shall be to you a sabbath of solemn rest, and you shall afflict your souls; on the ninth day of the month at evening, from evening to evening, you shall celebrate your sabbath.

 So God while created the world he said the first til the sixth day it was very good, God"s physicial creation took 6 full days.

so why do we have a 7day week?

the answer is God"s spirtual creation took just 1 day.

So when you study the Bible you should ask leading questions..meaning there is only one answer.. like for example what day is it today? you answer Saturday.

How many days are there in a week.

Can you find anywhere in creation any kind of astronomic confirmation that there is a 7day week?

He then asked more questions and the person(who was an atheist)  said no..

So where is the only place you can find a 7 day week?

the person who'm pastor John spoke to couldnt give an answer so pastor John responded and said in the Bible.

After that the atheist said you given me a reason to believe there is a God..

Praise God!     that week thing caught him..

the Sabbath was created in a perfect enviroment.

Genesis2:1-3

Thus the heavens and the earth, and all the host of them, were finished.  And on the seventh day God ended His work which He had done, and He rested on the seventh day from all His work which He had done. Then God blessed the seventh day and sanctified it, because in it He rested from all His work which God had created and made.

1 Corinthiens 10

Jesus didnt get baptised because He was a sinner, He got baptisd to kill the sinful nature that He took on ( so our sins). He left an exemple that we should do as He Himself has done.

So when God rested He was saving that exemple, which is so important.

He took 1 whole day and every time this day comes you remember That God created in 6 days right? and on the 7th day He rested, so we as Christians should rest aswell and keep in mind that that is the only day that God rested for He blessed and santifie that day. It is not a Jewish instituion, but it is an institution of the Almighty God, there were no jews around and God did not give any jew the responsabilité of saying that that is their day...

*following questions = Were the trees of fruit just for the jews?

is marriage only for the jew folks? do only jews sin? do only jews die?*

No God created everything HE did for humanity, He creates and He is the creator and always will be.

Also there was a controversy going on and a war in heaven cause lucifer wanted to be in the councils of God, he was shut out from that and that is where the war up there started taking place.

Which resutlts the temptatopn in the Garden of Eden (remember the snake, it was lucifers work)

The Sabbah brings untold blessings. how can something so perfect be so hated?

cause people think Shabbat is the worse thing that God ever did..

there are 2 institiutions that God blessed which are 1:the Sabbath and 2;Marriage which satan hates!

God is the final Authority! amen

many folks say as long as we love the Lord that"s all that matters= kinda diabolical.

like men marrying men, women marrying women and some changing their genders..

look how the devil himself works he created a strategy for us humans to pcik a day we prefey just like how some peoples pick the gender they prefer.

so you can compare sunday worship like same-sex marriage

What is the argument here?

People pick what they prefer and not what God commands! they cover it with smiles 

saying they love the Bible, i do this and that and lvoe the Lord

but the Bible says that: He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer shall be abomination.

When you know and do not do what is required from us Christians to do. God doesnt say you get a pass from obedience...

John chapter 14: if you love me keep my commandements = not a verbal assent but an action in your life.

Why do we have a 7day week?

 God's spirtual creation took 1 day.

The week

1 Sunday = Creation of day and night

2 Monday = Creation of firmament(Heaven)

3 Tuesday = Creation of vegetation, fruits and trees

4 Wednesday = Creation of the sun, moon and stars

5 Thursday = Creation of birds, sea creatures

6 Friday = Creation of animals and humanity

7 Saturday= Creation of Shabbat

This was all done before the perfect enviroment (God's creating the world and all)  sin entered the world. 

Gen26:4-5

And I will make your descendants multiply as the stars of heaven; I will give to your descendants all these lands; and in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed;  because Abraham obeyed My voice and kept My charge, My commandments, My statutes, and My laws.

It also clearly says that father Abraham obeyed the laws, the commandments and my statutes.

Jacob name changed to Israel it is a spirtual term.

Romains9:6

But it is not that the word of God has taken no effect. For they are not all Israel who are of Israel. 

We are born nationally but we are born again spiritually.

God does not say i will bless you if you keep some of my commandments. All the commandments matter not just one.

God is looking for the change to happen in the heart of humanity.

Shabbat was not brought into existence until Mount Sinai, it is not scriptural, Moses in Exode 16;

Exode 5:5

And Pharaoh said, “Look, the people of the land are many now, and you make them rest from their labor!”

Labor in Hebrew is SHABBAT.

the Sabbath was restored among the slaves that were in Egypt,thats why Pharao got upset and gave them rest = its a hidden passage.

As long as it is wrong to murder,lie,steal,commit adultery, take God's name in vain, the validity of the Shabbat will abide with them, they aint 10suggestions...but they are 10commandements that come in 1package and we must observe em all cause they are all relevant!

God says remember and the devil says forget..

remember now the Creator in the days of thy youth.. = God's saying

remember Lot's wife, God said don't look back.

 God says remember the Shabbat and keep it holy = God's saying

peoples will do what Paul, Luke said in the Bible but when it comes to what God says then you got a whole different way of them reasoning of following...

many folks are i know what the Bible says but... ( their reasonings)

this is what the Bible says  in Exode16:28-29: And the Lord said to Moses, “How long do you refuse to keep My commandments and My laws?  See! For the Lord has given you the Sabbath; therefore He gives you on the sixth day bread for two days. Let every man remain in his place; let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.

So be an example to others..dont go to a restaurant on a sabbath nor bowling

cause you keep yourself from keeping the Sabbath..

Dont take God lightly!

my conclusion on the discussion;

What i learned from Pastor John is that all the commandments of God matters, not just one, not two or three but all of em matters, for they are commandments from the Lord...it is written in the Bible. Those commandments come all in one package.. You cant pick and leave out. Also God the Creator of Heaven and earth ended His work on the seventh day and He rested on the seventh day from all the work that He Himself has done. Also jews they have their own interpretation of the Shabbat thats why they accused Jesus Christ when he performed a miracle...later on he said to them pharisees you hypocrites... cause He was doing God's work for the man to heal yet they didnt like what Jesus was doing. So the Jewish sabbath is not the same as ours the Christians.

Personal question (does God really not punish those who are ignorant about a subject? or like totally ignorant?)

Notes:

The Bible is life and death, there are no jokes about it. WHen God ask for obedience He asks for total obedience o His word. It is all or nothing to obey God

James says you ought to live you life as if your understand that one day you will be judged understand that the Bible calls the whole duty of man. When God gave Christ He gave everything.

Mark 12 Shall love the Lord with all thy heart. total commitment to God as God made total commitment to us by giving His Son. 

Revelation 14:9-

The very first words that God spoke to human being was a warning.

the wrath of God  is in those 7 vials. 7 Angels each angels has a vial.

Revelation is a symbolic book. God didnt literally put his wrath into a cup.

Revelation 16  now here is a command where does the command come from? it comes from the Lord.

It is God's expression for His hatred for sin not for people but for sin. that is why Christ came to get sin out of us. When Christ comes to destroy sin, He comes to destroy wherever He finds it weither its stubbornness or something else.

A God of love is a God of justice, we sin and we sin, we think we get away from it. we sin and nothing happened, like nothing that we can see but it will eventually catch up with you.( can be spiritually or physically even mentally)..

So even tho we may not know what the system is right now, the pint is they are worshiping it. Jesus Christ told satan thou shalt worship the Lord and Him only shall thou serve. so you may not know who that beast is atleast you know in the end time, that people will be worshipping a system contrary to God's system and the first plague falls on those.

every ocean will turn to blood.

many folks come to church to get rich they often dont wanna hear the truth that will set them free. ( sad but it is reality)

The sun will be so hot that as if your skin is burning.

Just like when God brought the Israelites out of Egypt, He send plagues on Egypt and He will do the same very soon.

locust,plagues, frogs,every first born in egypt died, God will send plagues on this earth..

many peoples lost their lives in earthquakes.. we have heard and seen it on the news so it is nothing strange for it is already written in the Bible..

Revelation 149 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation;

Who qualifies for God's wrath

Ephesian 5:3-6

But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

What are those things? sins,  as written in verse 6 of Ephesians 5.

What is sin transgression of the law? 1John3:4.

God is so merciful and wants us to know the way of life and so we ought to know God know Christ and know about Salvation.

Pastor Randy also says that those who are ignorant will not be punished by God..

in the books of James you can read that if you break 1law, you somehow break them all.

you got 2 groups

• the children of disobedience they suffer the wrath of God

• in verse 12 those who keep he commandment of God those who obey.

Which commandment are you aware of that your breaking? and if you know you should stop.

so as we know from the Bible one man and one sin entered into the world and one mistake and Christ had to give his life. 

so you understand if He had to die cause of 1 sin..you can get why breaking one is breaking them all... cause death is the punishment of transgression of the law.

God His punishment is not accidental, it is deliberate and He has the right to do it, to punish sin.

Sodom et Gomora were not burned accidently He burned them up. God creates and destroyes, He gives life and takes it. God punishes sin and so we shall do our best to stop sinning coming from ourselves cause God doesnt have a pleasant way to stop a sinner or to humble a proud person that is why James 47 1peter 5ver 5-6 it says that we should humble ourselves.

Escape the wrath of God, dont escape cause you dont wanna get burned but escape the wrath because you want to be with God, amen amen.

We wanna live in His presence and talk face to face with Him..

Jeremiah 3;12-13 Go and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, Return, thou backsliding Israel, saith the Lord; and I will not cause mine anger to fall upon you: for I am merciful, saith the Lord, and I will not keep anger for ever. Only acknowledge thine iniquity, that thou hast transgressed against the Lord thy God, and hast scattered thy ways to the strangers under every green tree, and ye have not obeyed my voice, saith the Lord.

acknowledge your iniquities and tell God you were wrong..He is a forgiving God.

Many peoples break the Sabbath commandement, they keep sunday instead of sunday even tho there is no Bible support they say well my family has done,etc.. other people can not shield you from the wrath of God. literally know no one.

Joshua 24:15 As for Me and My Household, We Will Serve the Lord.

so he realises he is an individu in his house and so if his house decides to leave God.. he will serve God is what the scripture explains.

Gen 3v17 And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;

God gave Eve to Adam but there is no circumstance where we can put anyone ahead of God.

we have to leave a cherished thing to follow Christ just like how he left heaven to come save us.

so  many Christians are finding themselves into sin because many do not keep the Sabbath

anathema = cassed into hell out of Christ your damned and be a cursed..

many of us need to make a decision to escape the wrath of God.

Revelation 22;14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

Thème/Teaching: How Will God Solve the Greatest Problem in the Universe by Pastor Mark Finley.

Questions: He starts of with somebody asking How is your day going? And you reply Do you really wanna know?

Have you said to God when you knelt before Him, God how is your day going?

And God can for example say.. You know you may have some problems but i got some problems too

Infact God’s problems is not a crime..God’s greatest problems isnt broken homes, it is also not desease, it is also not war, hunger nor world terrorism..

The greatest problem in the universe is SIN.

God’s Solution to the Greatest Problem in the Universe…

In the garden of Eden..Adam and Eve sinned after that God told them to offer a sacrifice. WHy? What was his Purpose? The Bible says that the wages of sin is death and so sin brings forth death(Romans 6:23) , God wanted to reveal the horrible nature of sin.

Because sin seperates us from God (Isaiah59v2)

Human beings offered sacrifices aftr they have sinned. But after that God told Moses to build a sanctuary.

God desire

Psalms77v13 Your ways, God, are holy. What god is as great as our God? You are the God who performs miracles; you display your power among the peoples. With your mighty arm you redeemed your people, the descendants of Jacob and Joseph.

God His desire is to solve the sin problem.. 3 things we can notice are:

1.God’s way is in the sanctuary

2.God is going to do wonders in your life.

3. The purpose of the sanctuary is to reveal God’s plan to get us out of this earth of sin,sorrow and suffering.

There must be something more than mourning, famine,war, heartache,sorrow, tears,suffering,dissapointments..Etc

Why is that the righteous seem to suffer and the wicked seem to triumph?

In the book of Psalm73v17 the Bible says:

When I thought how to understand this, It was too painful for me— Until I went into the sanctuary of God; Then I understood their end.

David said through the verse it was too painfull for me until… i went unto the sanctuary fo God he found peace and security and He saw God’s plan dealing with sin and saw the end of evil…

Exodus5:8

And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.

God wants to reveal His love through the sancturary and His care and goodness.

Exodus 35v35

He has filled them with skill to do all kinds of work as engravers, designers, embroiderers in blue, purple and scarlet yarn and fine linen, and weavers—all of them skilled workers and designers.

The first lesson in the sanctuary;

When God calls you to  do something, He will give you the skill to do it. For exemple your a single mother raising three children and you feel stressed out about it, God who gave them the skill in the sanctuary He will give you the skill and strength to deal with what you are doing.. when we are faithful to God He will give us the ability and help us.

God is going to provide for you, it is blessed to give love to others, when we serve in kindness and compassion our heart are filled with grace and goodness.

Exodus35v21-22

The real question of chrisitanity is who has the heart?

To giving yourself away, surrending yourself unto God, aknowledging that God made you He created you and fashioned you and your not a genetic accident. You come recognizing that He has a plan for your life.. you just say God take my heart

We don not need to be discouraged Jesus Christ came to our world to bring divine power to men.. that through His Grace we might be transformed into His likeness. When it is in the heart to obey God, when effort are put forth to this end; Jesus accepts this disposition and effort as man’s best service and HE makes up for the deficiency with His own divine merit.

White represents the righteousness of Christ. His perfect sacrifice for you and me.

Righteousness covers our sin.

Bronze explanation is written in Daniel4v23.

He lost his mind and disobeyed God and went around like a beast (Nebukadnezzar)

When we come to Christ He begins to work in us.– 1John3:2 Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.

Message of the sanctuary is:

As we come to Him, we proceed from the court into the Holy place and it is how you ve redeemed by His grace, sanctified by His power and be transformed forever.

The door of the sanctuary is facing East. The israelites had to turn their backs to the East..why?  because in Babylon they worship the sun and East was the symbol of falsehood,sunworship and idolatrie( was men’s way rather than God’s way sadly)

So the Israelites turned away from those sun worship facing the Eastern side.

Insights from the structure and offering of the Sanctuary.

1. Altar of burnt offering/bronze

Burnt offering was;sheep,bullock,goat, make atonement,kill the bull à Levetique 1;3-5 and it took place in the morning when the priest took the altar of burnt offering to the altar and placed it on the altar 24hours long..

Why?...Have you remembered every sin you’ve ever commit?

So the burnt offering represent the living Christ who ministers for you and me 24h a day, and when we come to Him we may or may not remeber our sin but if we are His Children then know His sacrifice is for us..all of us.

2. Burnt offering takes place when the Holy Spirit convicted sinners..they would come to the altar to bring offering. If you back in the days was poor instead of bringing a bullock you could bring grains and scrape it together or a pigeon or turle dove, to make it simple God said just bring what you have…(what you can afford). Levetique3= peace offering. Levetique4= sin offering like unintentional sin and levetique5:5,6= trepass offering.(like not bringing tithes)

Now the question here may be why so many offerings you wonder??

Cause there’s no sin that cannot be atoned for and too great for God to forgive.

What is the process in the court? à Lev1v4,5

Sinner comes with sacrifice and bring it to the santcuary and the sacrifice is accepted on hsi behalf.. so what happens when he lays his hand above the head of the sacrifice? Confession, and the confession needs to be specifik not like oh Lord if i did anything wrong please forgive me, let it be a genuine and sincere confession..

Romains8v1à there’s no condemnation to those who are in Jesus Christ.

So you come with guilt, shame and burdened with condemnation

Blood was sprinkled 7 times because Jesus Christ was wounded 7times.

One = whipped Jesus his back

Two = crowns of throns upon his head

Three= they pput nails in each hand

Four= they nailed his foot to the feet to the cross 5,,6 they put a spear in his side ah Seigneur and Seven= the blood sprinkled.

2Pierre1v22-24.

Either you yourself gonna bear your own guilt or Jesus is going to bear it for you..

We come with all our guilt to the sanctuary.

The cost of sin is the cost of the blood of Christ.

What’s the greatest motivation?

It is to know that Christ wants me into Heaven more than we can ever know and tha tHis love is so great for you and me, that everytime we turn our backs on Him and sin it breaks Jesus Christ His hearts, He weeps on our behalf.. because He knows that sin destroys us.

When sin hurts us enough, we get on our knees and in brokenhearted repentance we confess our sins sincerely unto Him what is breaking His heart.

Bronze= symbol of salvation and water is symbol of cleansing. à Ephesiens5v26-28.

God His desire is to bring peoples into the sanctuary who are in His presence and there in His presence He works a work in our life that transforms us.

Every element of the sanctuary speaks to you and me about the Glory and Grace of our God.

Explanation of the tabernacle…

7 branches represents the sevenfold ministry of the Holy Spirit working through the word of God to uplift the living Christ. The only lgiht that comes in the sanctuary is from the candlestick. The scripture says GOD is light and in Him there’s no darkness at all. amen

God wants to lighten up our lives.

Psaumes119v105 Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path. = sanctuary language. Fill your mind with the word of God and that will illuminate our lives.

The tabernacl= the holy place.

The table of the presence= tabel of showbread à Exode 25v23-30.

(acacia wood, would never rot and was extremely light and easy to carry)

So Jesus comes as that one who has no appearance of greatness, He tabernacles in human flesh. Christ is fully God and fully man and He left Heaven and here He is the divine son of God.

Levetique 24: 5-9

John6v51-58 I am the living bread that came down from heaven. Whoever eats this bread will live forever. This bread is my flesh, which I will give for the life.

John6v63

Is your heart longing for something you dont have Jesus has come and said that i will satisfy that innerlonging of your heart.

Altar of incense= the prayer of the believers mingles with the righteoussness of Christ. Our defiled prayers are purified by His righteouessness. The golden altar of incense was two cubits tall,1cubit square with a crown of gold around the top and 4 golden horns.

Christ is there for us let us all just look at the sanctuary. Could Heaven have done anything more to save you? Could God have done anything more? Let those questions sink in.. Jesus left the realms of Heaven and he tabernacled in human flesh and faced satan on our behalf and never lost a battle to satan and died the Eternl death bearing our guilts He is the lving priest and He is in Heaven for you and me because we are all that valuable to Him.

He starts of by saying: Dealing with the temple in Israel, a prophetic time capsel that changed the world. In Mount Horeb God gave Moses the ten commandements.

Jerusalem= the Holy city there you once had the holy temple of Salomon. The place where Father Abrham went to sacrifice Isaac.

• 1.What did God ask Moses to build? à Exode 25;8 And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.

Answer to Q1: there are three temples in the Bible, which are.

1 temple portable in the wilderness build by Moses,

2 the temple of Salomon built on Mount Moria that King Nebukadnezzar destroyed, when Salomon was building his templed he prayed unto the Lord and said this building that we’re building is not for you to live in, because the earth is your footstool. This very temple wasn’t designed to be a house where God sits. But it was a place so that we could approach God, because we as humand beings are separated from God by sin and this temple was to rrepresent a coming to God and there was 1 door in.

3rd temple was built during the time Esdras and Nehemie, it was refurbidhes by King Herod. Those were 3 earthly temples

Geographie: when the children of Israel left Egypt, the Egyptians were so overwhelmed by the plagues that they gave all these gold and silver materials and said this like a reward for all the hard work you’ve done, tell your God to bless us. All of this in order to have some mercy or gain mercy from all the plague situation that was going on. So all these materials of gold and silver is what they put into building this tabernacle that could be assembled in the wilderness as they moved. God gave the the designs not only to the construction of the sanctuary, but also to the clothing that the priest had to wear.

• 2.What did God expect His peoples to learn from the Sanctuary?                                                                                                        Answer to Q2: in Psaumes77v13 YOur way o God, is in the sanctuary.

God teaches us who He is and how we reach Him through this building and this building(sanctuary) contains the secrets in the plan of Salvation. Nothing what God does is by accident! From the book of Exode till Apocalypse you’ll find references of the sanctuary matter. Many visions take place in this sanctuary. For exemple in the books of Apocalypse 1, it shows that Jesus Christ is standing among 7candlesticks, what do these seven candlesticks represent?  à Menora with 7 candlesticks in the first apartment of the earthly temple.

Apocalpyse11 à the temple of God was open in Heaven and i saw the Ark of the covenant, this Ark appears there in the book of Ezekiel,Zacharie, and a part in the book of Daniel, Esaie6 where God is on His throne with 2 angels, one on the right and the other on the left.

• 3. From what source did Moses obtain the blueprints for the sanctuary? OF what was the building a copy of?                                                                                                                                                                          Answer to Q3: God is talking to Moses and to the people in Exode25v40: See that you make them according to the pattern shown you on the mountain.

Here we can see that God gave Moses the plans for the tabernacle. In HEbrews8v5 They serve at a sanctuary that is a copy and shadow of what is in heaven. This is why Moses was warned when he was about to build the tabernacle: “See to it that you make everything according to the pattern shown you on the mountain. So here you can see that the temple is a miniature of the dwelling place of God in Heaven and there is no earthly representation big enough to show this dwelling place of God. So this temple had golden wallpaper that had angels ingraved and in Heaven you got the real angels. So God wanted us to know something about the dwelling place in the sanctuary.

• 4. What furniture was in the sanctuary?                                                                                                                                                         Answer to Q4: there are 3parts..1the courtyard, in the buidling it has two rooms, Holy place = first room and most Holy place called the holiest of all is the 3rd room.

3primary phases in Salvation: 1justification,2santification qnd 3glorification. So the Bible teaches us that we come to God through justification then you follow Him and learn about being Holy, living a new life, when we finally get to heaven in the 3rd final phase you are in glory, you get your new body which will be glorified.

1) deliverance from slavery in Egypt through sacrifcing the lamb= justification,

2) journey through the wilderness where they gett lessons= santification, and

3) entrance into the Promised Land= glorication.

• 5.Why did animals need to be santified in the Old Testament sanctuary?

Answer to Q5: the sin of Eve and Adam affect all of us inclduing animals…

Hebrews 9v22 without the shedding of the Blood there’s no remission.

Matthew6v28 (new convenant)

So back in the days when you sinned, you needed to sacrifice and do a burnt offering. So everytime you sinned you had to get a lamb everytime you sinned in order to be forgiven, how about Jesus Christ? The lamb of God? Shouldnt that make it difficult? ( each and everytime you sin we hurt our Lord Jesus)

• 6. How’s the plan of Salvation illustrated in the sanctuary?

Answer to Q6: in 1Cor5v7 For indeed Christ, our Passover, was sacrificed for us.

Passover,ceremonies,feast of trumpets,feast of tabernacle these were shadows.

Passover was fulfilled when Christ dies for us on the cross, at supper Jesus Christ ate with his disciples.. in Luke He said i have longed to eat this Passover with you. He was the passover lamb, now we dont have to do those burnt offering sacrifices anymore. Cause Christ is the Lamb!

Hebbreux 4v14. Ainsi, puisque nous avons un grand souverain sacrificateur qui a traversé les cieux, Jésus, le Fils de Dieu, demeurons fermes dans la foi que nous professons.

Hebbreux8 1,2. Jesus Christ is our High Priest.

We can go to Heavenly Priest now and pray and ask forgiveness.

There’s only one door. Jesus Christ is that door cause He is the way, the Truth of life.

The Bible is written by Jews like Luke..

Daniel prays and Ange Gabriel appears to explain how much time it takes for the Messiah to come,(first coming of Christ) Daniel9v23:24.

Jesus the Messiah= the annointed.

7.What Event and date were to mark the starting point for the 490-year prophecy?

Answer to Q7:

You  got 7days in a week. 7x7=49, a period of 70 weeks, which represents 490 years.

Luke 13v32 behold i cast out devils.. He replied, “Go tell that fox, ‘I will keep on driving out demons and healing people today and tomorrow, and on the third day I will reach my goal. (3 more years, them 3 days were years).

• 8.Was the Messiah anointed 69 prophetic weeks or 483literal years after 457B.C as the angel said?

Answer to Q8:  in Actes10v38  yes Jesus Christ was baptized in 27 A.D,483years after the decree..

Actes 10v37 after the baptism John said that God anointed Jesus with the Holy Spirit and the power (he got baptised at 30) according to the Jewish law you couldnt serva as a priest until you were 30years. Joseph,David were 30 when they began to reign with their calling..

After the baptism Jesus Christ began his minsitry because He was anointed and filled with the Holy Spirit. ( just as Daniel prophecied)

483years until the Messiah begins His ministry

Baptism of Jesus Christ:27A.D

He then confirms God’s convenant with God’s people for a year. 3and half years He does it in person,then He dies and tells the disciples, you go forth in my name. As the Father send me, i send you..

When Jesus died there was an earthquake thats where the sacrificing of lambs stopped.31A.D

Answer to Q10:  In Matthieu 10:5 5 These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions: “Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans.

When Christ was still among them and teached them and taught them the temple daily. When they rejected Him he said Matthew23v38 Look, your house is left to you desolate.

What temple? His body. The church is called the body of Christ..

Markv14v58 We heard him say, ‘I will destroy this temple made with human hands and in three days will build another, not made with hands.

God has a physical temple o earth= the Church

Our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit

11.Since Jesus died in the middle of the final week,how did He confirm the convenant for the last 3andhalf years?

Answer to Q11:  Hebreux2v3 how shall we escape if we ignore so great a salvation? This salvation, which was first announced by the Lord, was confirmed to us by those who heard him.

The disciples went on to preach for 3andhalf more years..till eightythirtyfour? After that Steven was stoned..

John20v21

3000were baptised in 1day, they were jews..until Actes10 God hits apotre Peter in the head with the vision saying now you can go to the Gentiles..

12.When did the 70week of 490year prophecy conclude?

Answer to Q12:  34A.D à Steven stoned. In Actes 7 speaks about the Spirit filled deacon,just like Jesus is falsely tried before the same group that condemmed Jesus Christ, His face shines and Steven says i see Jesus sitting on the right hand. And the jews didnt wanna hear anything so they plugged their ears. Saul that changed into Paul is converted and sent to the Gentiles ( He was there at the primary witness of Steven being stoned in Actes chapitre7 et8)

13. wHo are God’s peoples today?

Answer to Q13:  Galatians3v29 If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. John the Baptist said we are Abraham’s seeds. If you have faith in God, as Father Abraham was known for His Faith.. then you become a child of Abraham. God saves people based on their faith. John3v16. YOu can not be a christian and hate jews because you as a Christian are a spirtual Jew..the Bible is written by Jews…1Pierre2v5 you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house[a] to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

my conclusion; is that it holds great significance in understanding God's plan of salvation for His people. The sanctuary symbolizes the journey of deliverance from slavery, the wilderness experience and the entrance into the Promised Land. It's a beautiful representation of God's love and mercy towards His people.
